A Constant Stream of Lies

A Constant Stream of Lies is a Portland band formed in 2023, beginning with the writing of “I Will” on June 20 of that year.

The band’s work is built around original songs, live performance, and a deliberately independent approach to making and presenting music. Rather than fitting neatly into a single genre or scene, A Constant Stream of Lies has developed around the songs themselves, with an emphasis on dynamics, atmosphere, and the tension between melody and noise.

Based in Portland, Oregon, the band continues to write, record, perform, and develop new material while building a growing catalog of releases and live work.
